One of the first lessons I was taught as I began to study Natural Hygiene and Nature Cure is to trust the process. Even when it seems like you are getting worse, you are getting better when you are doing the right thing. So don't be afraid to do the right thing. We have to be patient, as the healing does not take place overnight. For most of us we didn't get in the shape we are in overnight, and the reversal will take a little time as well. The good news, though, is that you will be getting better within a short time.
Cleaning out your colon is the best gift you can give yourself. What you eat affects how you feel and how you think. The body and mind are connected. Instead of treating symptoms such as blood sugar imbalances, thyroid imbalance, food allergies, and other issues address the cause. Clean out the lymph system. Clean out your colon. Our diseases are our feedback system to warn us we are making mistakes.
One of the main benefits of living the simple, natural lifestyle is being able to have a clearer perception of the world. There is nothing we have to "get" that we don't already have. The quest is to learn to let go the things that bind us. We are so used to being in bondage to our poor health, lack of vitality, medicines, lack of energy, lack of motivation, stimulants to get us going, and programmed thinking that the idea of being free of all of that is quite scary. So we say living biogenically sounds restrictive; it sounds like a bunch of "thou shalt nots". We don't want to give up our comfort foods or our comfort habits of tobacco and alcohol that help us cope in our bondage. We feel like if our comforts disappear, we will have nothing left.
But when we use our intelligence and will-power to let go of the foods and habits that are keeping us in our misery, we begin to see that we have not been told the truth. We begin to learn things for ourselves from our own experience. We learn to think for ourselves. Once we find the confidence to do what we need to do, we will live with more peace and calm. The results are worth the effort.
