I woke up feeling tired so decided not to go into the city today. I stayed in bed until 10:00 then washed up, washed my hair, and dressed. It was a cold and rainy morning which gave me another reason to stay in today.
I went down to Bruce's store and bought food for my lunch. He only charged me $2.50. Surely that was not enough. Lunch was mandarin, grapefruit, avocado, pear, and some of the almonds I bought the other day.
Renee (from the health meeting) called me after lunch. She had questions about the course I study with Dr. Fielder. Renee is trained as a nurse, but she is very much into health...as opposed to medicine. She recently fasted with Dr. Alex Burton for twenty days at his natural healing facility in Sydney. Renee is active in the vegetarian group here and quite knowledgeable.
I walked around the neighborhood in the afternoon. At the Cafe de Cuba I ordered a Greek Salad and a freshly squeezed orange juice with ginger...to go. I took them back to my room and thoroughly enjoyed every bite as I lazed around on the sofa and watched Australian television. This was a day of recuperation.
