Kookaburra Sits in the Old Gum Tree

My i-phone has corrected itself to show the right time for Queensland.  My computer has been correct ever since the first day.  When I woke up, I grabbed my i-phone and the time was 3:30 a.m...too early to get up...so I played games on the phone for awhile.  When I finally got up, I found that my phone now agrees with my watch.  It's keeping me off balance here.  Hopefully, it will not be changing any more.  I read eight chapters in my Bible before going to work and read three more after lunch.

Today was another mowing day.  There was a kookaburra that sat in the trees around where I was mowing and watched me all morning.  Once he even swooped down very close to me.  John says they do that when you mow because they want to catch the insects that the mower stirs up.  The trees the kookaburras sit in are gum trees.  In Australia all the trees in the Eucalypt family are gum trees.  So the song is correct.  Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree, Merry merry king of the bush is he, Laugh kookaburra, Laugh kookaburra, Gay your life must be.

Lunch was coconut in coconut water, star apples, papaya, avocado, banana with almond butter, and a mandarin.

I looked on-line to see how to extend the time my laptop battery will operate.  One suggestion was to dim my screen.  I'll try that.  My sister, Sheila, suggests not leaving it plugged in once it is fully charged.

I studied my Natural Hygiene lesson on Women's Suffering.  Regarding unhygienic clothing...High heels effect the spine and internal organs, especially the lower spine and the organs of digestion and reproduction.  I typed up my lesson and sent it to John before supper.

I'm getting a little bit hooked on Mahjong Titans although I can not figure out how to win from the turtle format.  I'd appreciate any strategic tips.   I practiced my flute before supper, too.

I'm still feeling a bit homesick.

Supper was tomato, avocado, cucumber, sauerkraut, pecans, and a date.  I played a game of Mahjong Titans.  I watched some more of the Bruce Lipton DVD, Nature, Nurture and The Power of Love.  I knitted some more on my beautiful scarf.  Then I read myself to sleep with Three Swans.
